Andy is also a Studio Manager and Senior Teaching Lecture of the Rotunda Studio at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), as part of the University of London.

In his Introduction to Sound Recording module, he focuses on developing his students understanding of the basic studio concepts in the modern age of music production, and equipping them with a working knowledge of music technology and the core skills need to progress with their careers.

His practical approach to production theory covers: how to conduct a recording session from start to finish, organising your workflow, building relationships to get the best out of the artist, and preparing yourself for recording unfamiliar instruments and genres.
